AUPP to air four programmes on Tunisian tourism -  22/04/2011 
Four TV programmes on Tunisian tourism will be broadcast on the network of the Arab Union of TV Program Producers (AUPP), which gathers over 70 Arab satellite channels, 15 international channels and 2,500 websites.

This decision was made during a working session held between Secretary of State in charge of Tourism Slim Chaker and AUPP Secretary-General on the sidelines of the Colloquium on Inter-Arab Tourism held, last April 20-21 in Sharm Sheikh, in Egypt.

Organised under the aegis of the Arab League and the Arab Tourism Organisation (ATO), the symposium looked into the impact of the last events marking the Arab world and means to be implemented to help revitalise tourism.

On the sidelines of the event, Mr. Chaker had several talks with his opposite numbers from Egypt, Jordan and Palestine and ATO Chairman.

Mr. Slim Chaker and the Jordanian Tourism Minister agreed on organising a seminar between Tunisian and Jordanian professionals, aimed to develop the tourist flow between the two countries.
